After relocating from just outside Millbrook in Dutchess County, NY Ed and Judy Orton purchased Meadow View Thoroughbreds in August of 2002.  Their mission is to provide horse owners with the security of knowing their horses are not going to be lost in the herd but cared for as individuals.

After relocating from just outside Millbrook in Dutchess County, NY Ed and Judy Orton purchased Meadow View Thoroughbreds in August of 2002.  Their mission is to provide horse owners with the security of knowing their horses are not going to be lost in the herd but cared for as individuals.

Judy has worked with and owned horses since a child.  Gaining her breeding and foaling experience from working for Keane Stud in Amenia, NY earlier in her career.  She has competed in 3-day eventing and trained her own show horses, all thoroughbreds, in the disciplines of jumping and dressage.

Ed, a carpenter by trade, has renovated or built every building on the farm.   Ed is the key to keeping the farm in top shape.

Combining their skills Meadow View Thoroughbreds, LLC. was incorporated in 2006.  Since then many foals have been born and raised on the farm who have gone on to have rewarding careers in racing.

Ed and Judy live on the farm and are present at every foaling ensuring your foal has a professional welcome into this world.
